What do you say to a French cat?
I carry along a foreign language phrasebook, but as a rule I avoid people.
I like pets though. I’m always trying to chat up stray dogs that I meet on the street. Problem is, I only speak dog-English, not dog-Thai or dog-Turkish.
But my foreign animal communication skills have improved rapidly, thanks to this site.
