Smith Maze Ski/Snowboard Helmet
Smith Maze Helmet – lightest snow sport helmet in the world
The Smith Maze is the “world’s lightest certified snow-helmet.” Weighing in at a scant 11.5 ounces, the Maze is so light you will barely notice it on your head.
With nine vents, the helmet has plenty of airflow to keep your head from burning up and your goggles from fogging. On warm days, just remove the Airflow plugs for some extra ventilation.
A removable goggle strap secures your ski goggles to the helmet and if you have a pair of Smiths you should get a snug fit between your helmet and the goggles – no goggle gap. Comfy earpads snap on and off so you can wash them or ride without them on warm days.
Available in 5 sizes, you should be able to find one that fits your noggin’. The Maze comes in a lot of crazy designs so you can find one to fit your unique style. Compatible with Skullcandy, Bluetooth, and Twin-tip audio systems, you can also purchase the helmet with a Skullcandy Audio Kit included.

The Smith Maze is a great first ski or snowboard helmet. When you first start skiing with a helmet, it can feel kind of clunky and uncomfortable, but with the Smith Maze you will barely notices it’s there. The helmet has plenty of vents so you shouldn’t feel like you have your head in an oven and if anything, it is overly breezy so you may want to wear a thin hat underneath during cold ski days.
