SeaLife Reefmaster ECO Shot
SeaLife Reefmaster ECO Shot – The world’s first truly waterproof and shockproof digital sports camera.
Recently I told you about the SeaLife DC500 digital camera and how it was perfect for SCUBA divers. Now I’m going to tell you about the Reefmaster ECO shot. The ECO shot is an underwater digital camera of the caliber as the DC 500, but with a slimmer body and price tag.
The Reefmaster ECO shot is a tough little digital camera. It is covered in a rubber armor for a secure grip and is shockproof tested up to an amazing 6ft. With a depth rating of 75ft; the ECO also has one of the highest depth ratings of any compact, waterproof digital camera.
One of the special features on the Reefmaster ECO shot is the SPY mode. SPY mode lets you set the camera to take pictures at set time intervals. I’m not really sure what you would use this while taking pictures underwater, but who knows.
Despite the seemingly useless SPY mode, the ECO shot is still a great little camera. It has large, easy to use, buttons that make photographing underwater a snap. The Eco also has the popular Sea & Land modes to help you capture bright and color images on land or underwater.
Here are some of the technical specs:
- 6.0 megapixels
- 2in LCD screen
- Instant focus from 2ft
- SD memory card up to 1GB
- Powered by 2 AA batteries
