Prana Bina Skirt
Prana Bina Skirt – lightweight, comfy, cotton travel skirt
I’ve been on the look out for a new travel skirt since my beloved Patagonia Vitaliti Skirt is starting to show some wear. I picked up the Prana Bina Skirt pretty much because I loved the color (cactus) and and the detail around the waist, plus it fit me perfectly.
Made from 100% cotton, the Bina is lightweight and super soft. It is fitted throughout the waist and flares out a bit through the knees. The waist is elastic without a whole lot of stretch so don’t count on the skirt stretching out if it is not comfy when you try it on.
I am not so sure that I would backpack for miles in this skirt, but I would wear it on the plane or out for a day of sightseeing followed by a night out on the town. It is uber comfy and you can easily dress it up or down, plus it looks great with a pair of Chacos.

If you’re not familiar with Prana clothing I highly recommend you head to REI and try some on immediately. Prana (along with Horny Toad) gets my vote for the most comfortable, versatile, and styling travel clothing ever made. Prana’s prices can be a bit steep, but you seriously get what you pay for in quality. Get the goods when they are on sale so watch for sales on Prana at REI, Backcountry, and Moosejaw.
