Osprey Stratos 40
Osprey Stratos 40 – A pack that can handle it all.
The Osprey line of backpacks has been getting rave reviews since they hit the market. The Osprey Stratos 40 is one of the many exceptional packs in the Osprey line. The Osprey Stratos 40 is a 2400 cubic inch daypack that thinks its a full sized pack. With an outstanding harness system, great compression straps, and an excellent design; they Osprey Stratos 40 can easily handle more than a simple day hike.
As I mentioned before, dont let the day pack classification scare you off. The Osprey Stratos 40 doesn’t fall in the same classification of high school book bags. No sir, the Osprey Stratos 40 is made for making the final push up the summit or for and overnight trip on the trail.
The Osprey Stratos 40 uses a top loading design with a floating lid. This will allow you to pack as much as you could possibly for an overnight trip or less. You can access your gear via the top or the side zipper pocket. On the outside of the Osprey Stratos 40 you’ll find horizontal compression straps that will help you cinch the pack down when carrying lighter loads.
