Myvu Crystal – Video Sunglasses
You know how in any good sci-fi movie that’s based in the future you undoubtedly see someone who is watching TV or video in a pair of glasses? They just look so cool that you can’t wait for the day where these video glass will become a reality. Well no longer are these video glasses just something to grace the pages of Popular Science magazine. Today, video glasses are real and somewhat affordable, thanks to a company called Myvu.
The Myvu Crystal glasses might look like something off a recent episode of Star Track, but isn’t that part of the appeal? I mean, they wouldn’t be nearly as cool if they looked like a pair of Ray Ban aviators now would they? The Myvu Crystal glasses are the most recent in the line of video glasses and are probably the most “futuristic” looking ones they have. If you’d like something a little less sci-fi, you might want to check out the other glasses. All though they are all far from discreet looking, the other is the line are a little more “normal” looking.
I know what you are probably thinking; these glasses look cool and I really like the idea of watching a movie on them, but what is the quality like? According to the company website, watching a movie with the Myvu Crystal glasses is like watching a movie on a large screen six feet away.

Myvu is trying to make this type of technology a standard for in flight movie watching. So, who knows, maybe in the future everyone will have their own pair of Myvu video glasses.
