The Hubba Hubba is one of the lightest freestanding tents on the market and I personally love the all mesh design.  Without the rainfly on you have perfect views of the stars from you sleeping bag.

Looking for a more affordable 2-person backpacking tent?  REI’s Half Dome 2 has similar features and is comparable in size to the Hubba Hubba but at nearly half the cost.  The Half Dome is a pound heavier than the Hubba Hubba, but if money were not a concern I would choose the Hubba Hubba over the Half Dome because of the dry-entry design and its lighter weight.  If you’re looking for an even lighter weight tent, check out MSR’s Hubba Hubba HP.
