Just what is it like to wear an outdoor kilt?

I have a bushy beard that could pass for a crow’s nest and more body hair than most creatures in the wild, so I would never usually be accused of switch-hitting. I guess it’s all in the skirt.
This takes some guts if you ask me. The pleated kilts look more man-like, but this one is a bit more, uh, skirt-looking from the picture.
