Litebook Charge n’ Go
The Litebook Charge n’ Go may be exactly what you’re needing to cope with travel to the Caribbean during the rainy season. While it won’t give you a tan, it may lift your spirits and be a faithful companion while huddled in a hurricane shelter.
Helpful for people suffering from “seasonal affective disorder” in various stages from “the blues” to “contemplating suicide” the Litebook could be a life-saver, with possible blindness as only a minor side effect.
Here’s a nifty little video (5:43 long) to help you understand the benefits.
However, the instructions say to place the Litebook between 12″ and 24″ from your face at a 30 to 45 degree angle and point the light beam at your eyes. Even the manufacturer claims that you should not look directly at it, and that the light source is extremely bright but it is not harmful to glance at it occasionally. Here’s the gotcha: keep your eyes open or it won’t provide the “benefit you seek.” On second thought, this may be something better left at home after all.
