K2 MissDemeanor Skis
K2 MissDemeanors—the original women’s specific all-terrain skis
If you’re an advanced female skier, you’ve probably spent a good part of your time out on the slopes riding on male skis. At least that’s definitely the case in my situation. Only in recent years have major ski companies like K2 started producing all-mountain and expert skis specifically designed with the female body and lower center of gravity in mind. I skied several seasons on the K2 Public Enemy, which I loved. But when it came time to retire the Public Enemies, I decided it may be time to switch to the female version of the Public Enemy, the K2 Miss Demeanor.
While K2 has some other high-end skis that also function well as all-mountain or powder skis like the K2 Phat Luv skis (a great ski for powder lovers who spend a good amount of time in the deep stuff or storm chasing) or the K2 HellBents (K2’s newest high-end reverse camber skis), the K2 Miss Demeanors are the perfect ski for the gal who wants a ski that will let her bomb the groomers, hit the bombs and ride powder in the backcountry without spending a ton of dough. The MissDemeanor is a twin tip ski built for advanced and expert female jibbers who want to ski the whole mountain—from park to the trees. The Miss Demeanor has the torsional rigidity underfoot, with a forgiving/lightweight tip and tail. The ski is specifically designed to soften landings and is the perfect ski for gals who want to throw big jumps or hit the powder.

The K2 MissDemeanors are not the top of the line ski from K2, and therefore has a few disadvantages. However, just like the K2 Public Enemy, the Miss Demeanor was built for the advanced female skier who wants to really ski on her skis—they are designed to take a lot of abuse all for a reasonable price. While the K2’s new reverse camber HellBent skis may be the new hotness in the ski world, but the MissDeameanor is the perfect ski for those ladies looking for an affordable, great all mountain ski that you can take on all kinds of terrain in all kinds of snow. Definitely a good buy.
