One such way that the GoLite Jam2 Pack saves weight is by eliminating the need for a lid. Rather than use a lid, the GoLite Jam2 Pack has basic top loading design. The top loading design uses a simple cinch cord to close and lock the top of the pack. But, the GoLite Jam2 Pack doesn’t get all of its lightness just from cutting of parts of the pack.
The GoLite Jam2 Pack is made from a super lightweight material. This lightweight material is a Dyneema gridstop fabric. Aside from the fabric being light, it is also extremely tough and durable. The GoLite Jam2 Pack also features a series of well thought out compression straps that let you easily convert the pack from a daypack to multi-day pack with just a few tugs.
