Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight
Zamberlan 144 Crest GT – A nice backup flashlight.
No one can argue that some sort of flashlight isn’t an invaluable piece of gear on any trip. No matter what you prefer, be it a headlamp, full size flash light, or a simple pen light, they always come in handy. I personally like to carry a headlamp for the bulk of my activities, but always carry a small, pocket sized flashlight as a backup. My current backup flashlight is the Garrity 9-LED Mini.
The Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight is a tough little torch that packs a lot of punch. The entire unit runs of off three triple A batteries. These three batteries can power the Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight for up to 60 hours of bright, uninterrupted light. The Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight provides you with super bright light thanks to its 9 LEDs (hence the name).
The Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight makes a great backup flashlight for a number of reasons. One is just the sheer size of the unit its self. At only a few inches in length, the Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight takes up little to no room in your pack. When you need to carry it around, it takes up little to no room in your pocket. The recessed, push button, switch on the back of the Garrity 9-LED Mini Flashlight also helps to prevent accidental powering of the unit.
