The Backpacker Gear Guide said it best when they described the EMS Mountain Light 0 as; “(The EMS Mountain Light 0) proves that you don’t have to go broke to get 725 fill-power down and a lightweight, water-resistant Pertex Microlight shell. Add a draft collar, very thick dual draft tubes, an inner chest pocket, and a compression sack, and you have one sweet deal.”

Even if you aren’t an “ounce counter” you will appreciate how light the EMS Mountain Light 0 is. The bags weight, or lack there of, mainly comes from its quality fill. The 725 fill power goose down is some of the lightest and most compressible insulation around.

Keeping all that 725 fill in is a Pertex Microlight shell. This Pertex fabric is water resistant and will help keep that morning dew from building up on the outside of your bag. The Pertex Microlight is lightweight as well to help complement the down fill.
