There are a few pieces of ski gear that are absolutely essential to enjoying your time out on the slopes. A good jacket, mittens and snow pants to keep you warm are among them. I recently got the Columbia Luna Sky Insulated snow pants and got to try them out on a bitterly cold and windy day on the slopes. They performed fantastically.

Long a fan of the Columbia Sportswear Titanium series, I had my doubts trying out a new and different line of snow pants. But the Luna Sky snow pants did not disappoint.

The Luna Sky pants have an Ultra-wick™ polyester lining that wicks moisture and dries quickly. The nylon taffeta lining from knees down allows easy movement around boots and the pants are insulated with MicroTemp™ XF II polyester fiber so you’ll stay warm while active or at rest.

Another added bonus is that the seat and knees are lined with polyester microfleece for added warmth on the chair lift or after a fall (because those chair lift seats can be awfully).
