The Black Diamond HiLight Tent is the baby brother of the ever so popular Lighthouse tent. This free standing and lightweight tent is designed with adventure racers and minimalist backpackers in mind. To put it bluntly, the Black Diamond HiLight Tent has four steep walls, one large door/window, ample room for two, and a SilNylon floor. There’s not much here, but isn’t that the point?

At only 2 pounds 13 ounces, the Black Diamond HiLight Tent is super light for a two person tent of this caliber. The entire tent packs down into about a 6in. by 9in. size. The Black Diamond HiLight Tent poles are also very compact, packing down to a mere 15.5 in. by 2.5in.

Black Diamond HiLight Tents free standing design is supported by only two poles. Big deal you say, well, what if I told you that you setup the two poles from inside the tent?
