Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow
Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow – A packable neck pillow.
I have to be honest with you, I totally used to make fun of all those people on the airplane with those goofy neck pillows – especially the ones who walk around the airport with them still around their neck like they’re showing off a piece of spectacular jewelry or something. I thought, seriously – how comfortable can those things really be? One day I caved and borrowed my dads neck pillow, just to try it out. Long story short, I can’t travel without one of these babies now.
I personally didn’t think it made sense to carry one of these bulky neck pillows on a trip where pack space was at a premium. Then I came across the Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow which had it all. It gave you all the comforts of a neck pillow with the packability of Therm-a-Rest.
The Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow works much like a Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad. The inside of the Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow is an open cell foam core, which gives you all the padding and comfort you need. The entire unit inflates just like the Therm-a-Rest pads and the outside of the neck pillow is a soft, suede-like polyester. The best part about the Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow, is that it can be deflated and squished enough so you can justify packing it!

I hate to say it, but I am now one of those dorky people on the plane that uses a neck pillow. In fact, the Therm-a-Rest Neck Pillow works so well, I’m one of those dorky people in cabs, boats, buses, trains, and anywhere else I can fall asleep sitting up sporting a neck pillow. Just try one of these on a four hour bus ride, at three in the morning, down a bumpy mountain road and I promise you’ll be sold.
