The Pelican 1010 is the perfect size for a cell phone, digital camera, or iPod. Made from ultra tough ABS plastic, the Pelican 1010 Micro Case is crushproof, dustproof, and water resistant. A handy attached carabiner lets you clip it to your pack or life jacket for easy access. Plus it comes in lots of fun colors.
The case is water resistant, meaning it isn’t totally waterproof so you’re not going to want to fully submerge it. It’s also not entirely sandproof either as I found out when I decided to test it out by buring it in the sand in Kauai. It will though protect your valuables from drops, splashes, and dust storms.

I am giving this Pelican case a 10 out of 10 for durability and overall awesomeness. I love being able to toss my camera in my backpack and not have to worry about it getting crushed or scratched. If I had discovered this case years ago I wouldn’t have gone through so many darn digital cameras. I definitely recommend buying some foam to add a little extra cushion for your electronics. The Pelican 1010 would definitely make a great stocking stuffer for travelers.
